  9. OVERVIEW
  10. --------
  11. TurboGIF is, to my knowledge, the fastest, smallest utility available for 
  12. viewing GIF pictures on the Amiga.  This 5K assembly language program is 
  13. three to fifteen times faster than similar programs such as HamGIF, VirtGIF,
  14. HamLab, and HamSharp.  Currently, TurboGIF produces very high resolution 
  15. black and white images, though color capability will be added in the next 
  16. release.  Image contrast and brightness can be adjusted to dramatically 
  17. improve faded or "banded" pictures.  Scrolling superbitmaps and resolution 
  18. adjustment are also supported.  Users who pay the $10.00 shareware fee will
  19. receive a registered version of the program which will save converted 
  20. pictures as IFF files.  Binary only.
